Sean Gittins

Wir arbeiten mit Sean gerade in einem von der EU geförderten Projekt zusammen und mögen ihn und seine tiefgründige und unterhaltsame Art total. Sein Blick auf Impro und Schauspiel ist zugleich klar und forschend. Das schreibt er über sich:

»My background is mainly in physical theatre, clown, improvisation and play. I have trained at many institutions over the past 12 years, including L'Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris for over two years and most recently with Giovanni Fusetti and Matteo Destro. Other teachers I have trained with include Aitor Bassuri, Spymonkey, Judith Shahn, Anthony Kingsley, Theo Morin, John Wright and others. Alongside my interest in play and physical theatre as the basis of acting and performing, I also spent many years studying the Meisner technique as a way of basing play and theatre in the truth of the moment, mainly in London with the Impulse Company and then the Actor's Temple. I am also passionate about exploring the lines where training in drama meets therapeutic work and am a trainee Play Therapist with PTUK. I love helping people create work that is unique to the voices of the people making it, using the different tools available to us from different disciplines and approaches to help students follow their own instinct and dreams and explore new and exciting possibilities in drama.«
