Marko Mayerl

Marko gehört zu unseren langjährigsten Impro-Freunden in der internationalen Szene. Wir haben zahlreiche Shows mit ihm gespielt und sehr unterschiedliche Projekte miteinander realisiert. Wir mögen ihn wirklich sehr, er ist ein unglaublich sensibler und humorvoller Spieler und Lehrer, sprüht vor Charme und liebt die Schauspieltechnik von Sanford Meisner ebenso wie Impro. Unbedingte Empfehlung! Sicher sind auch einige der Gorilla-Spieler*innen bei diesem Workshop dabei. Sein Englisch ist gut zu verstehen und er spricht sogar ein bisschen deutsch.

Marko has been Artistic Director of Inédit Théâtre for over 25 years. He lived in London where he trained in the Meisner technique for a year with the Impulse Company. He is an improviser, a writer and a practitioner of applied theatre, he loves above all to shape artistic projects where life pulsates through relationships.

From the madness of week-long Improv Marathons to the creation of the very precise Slow technique, from the Eureka show honoring the scientific approach to forum theatre on sexism, from the writing of the autobiographical play »My Name is Nemo« to its performance, from curiosity about the world to listening to others, Marko plays with boundaries and tries to reveal what is already there.
