Luise Schnittert is a trained actress and singer, born and raised in Berlin. She gained her first stage experience as a singer in numerous jazz bands in Berlin and Australia. Immediately after her graduation from acting school she was engaged at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm and henceforth stood as Claire Waldoff in »Zille« on stage in Berlin and in Hamburg. At the same time she became ensemble member of Die Gorillas, which brought her to international festivals and engagements in other European countries, the United States and Canada. At the moment she can be seen in the film »Hardness« by Rosa von Praunheim.
»I am very happy to share everything as an improv instructor that inspired, fascinated and shaped me in improvisation. This includes my experience as an improvisor but also as an actress and singer. In addition to my work as a Gorilla ensemble member, my 3-month stay in Chicago at Second City and IO (Improv Olympics) greatly inspired and expanded my view. When improvising, I am constantly coming to my limits and to new challenges. Precisely because of that, I find the work to be particularly valuable and instructive - for the stage and life. As we learn to improvise, we learn to be present, to turn off the head, to say yes, and much more. It is important to me that we have fun together, that we experiment and have an exciting time. I look forward to you all!"
